as parents of the daughter in the school we always attended all functions unless sick, keep our child well dressed, clean home, daughters have all the necessities and some things they want and never miss school unless sick!! Now that the accusations have been unfounded the teachers from the principal down do not speak to us even after we speak to them!! We have always had a good repore with them until they found out the allegations were unfounded!! Sad/ depressed bc my name was defamed and i dont think its right!!! Child services did their investigation and said they had no basis of this and have never seen any evidence of abuse on my daughter nor been to our home.

Most states have statutes that give schools, or hospital employees, immunity from liability in situations like this, provided they are acting in "good faith." So unless you can show they were not acting in good faith, they will be protected by the child abuse reporting statutes.
