Can an attorney acting as a receiver withhold his fees charged from a 50 shareholder of a restaurant?

My business is in receivership due to divorce and I appointed a receiver. The receiver will not send me an invoice and tell me what he is charging my business for his services. Isn't that illegal and not allowed under the Code of Ethics? The business is in Maryland.

More information is needed to respond properly. You appointed a receiver, how did you do that? Did a Judge sign off on it? Is there a statute that permits such an appointment? Can you not fire the receiver? Answer these and we may be able to better answer this question.
