I think this bigamy, right? Can I get our marriage void or annulled? Or do I have to get a divorce? Can I file charges?

My husband said he would give me a divorce but before I knew it he left the the States. He is now remarried in Indonesia. I was able to find and contact him but when the divorce subject comes up he stops talking. We have been separated for years but he is obsessed and do not want a divorce. I think he thinks we will be together one day. He is a very selfish person. He doesn't mind that I can't move on with my life. Please advise.

You should be able to get a divorce here, whether he wants to cooperate or not. Talk to a Family Law attorney.

Consult/hire a local family law attorney to see about moving forward with a divorce; even without his cooperation. As far as bigamy is concerned, I doubt that he would ever face charges since he is living in Indonesia.

If his marriage to you was after the Malay marriage, then your marriage may be void, and an annulment might be appropriate. But you certainly can file for divorce here.

You do not need him to move on with your life. You need a family law attorney to file a divorce. You must serve him in accordance with the Hague Convention, have him execute a waiver of service, or do Rule 106 service at a last-known place of abode in this country if you do not know his present address, or attempt service by certified mail return receipt requested. You need to get family law counsel, discuss jurisdiction and the marital estate, any children affected, and get a petition filed in one of your family law courts in Harris County.
