Can video be used as evidence in court for a red light ticket. I got a red light ticket for making a legal right. The pictures show me doing everything legal but the video shows me doing a California stop. Can I fight this and win? This happened in the city of Ventura ca

The law requires you to make a complete stop at red lights before proceeding for a legal right-hand turn. The video can be used against you. If I understand your use of the phrase "California stop", you mean you made a "rolling stop" or, in other words, failed to come to a complete stop. If that is what the video shows it is unlikely you will win at a trial. If you are concerned about your driving record, consult with a local attorney who can review the video with you and advise you in more detail.

The video will sink your ship. You might want to contact Attorney Andrew Roberts who is active on this site and handles traffic matters throughout So Cal. I'm sure you know this, but a "California Stop" is no stop at all. There might be other ways, however, to attack the red light ticket. Get some help and good luck.

The video can be used against you. It sounds as though you failed to come to a complete stop as required by law. As the other answer indicated, contact a local attorney to handle this matter for you.
