residential property, took my car and sold it without mine or the court's permission. Registration was "Husband or Wife." The judge put his decision off until the trial. Will the husband be responsible for replacing the car or should I only anticipate seeing half of the proceeds, even though the car was sold well under market (KBB) value?

You are entitled to half of the fair market value minus any loans owed on the car. You need a family law attorney to help you. Your ex violated that ATRO's and could be sanctioned for this.

Generally, you will be entitled to one-half of the fair market value of the property at the time of trial. However, their may be specific facts and circumstances that would warrant a different analysis. This is a topic that you should consult with an attorney to discuss in greater detail.
