Will my retail theft misdemeanor show up on a background check conducted by a bank?

When I was 17, my cousin used my ID at Walmart while trying to scam them and it resulted in a police officer showing up at my house. I received an NTA. When I went to adult court with my mom, the judge asked why I was even in his courtroom (because I was 17).
I have an interview at a bank and I was wondering if it would show on a background check and FBI fingerprint check. Or if I should just explain what happened after my interview.
If you were not arrested or fingerprinted, your background will likely not show this incident. If it does, and you are asked about it, then you should explain. What is NTA?
Read the questions very carefully. Answer just what the question asks For example "have you ever been convicted, pleaded guilty or no contest, or were you ever found guilty of a felony or misdemeanor" the answer would be no, based on the information contained in your question. But if they run an FBI record check with arrests showing, it will show up. Most employers have ways to get this information , though, especially ones in which the federal government does a background check. So again, read the question carefully, answer truthfully, and be prepared to explain what happened when they ask, which I bet they will do.
