Am I still eligible for DACA if I arrived one month after June 15 2012?

I have been living in the U.S. my whole life but had to leave when I was in the 2nd grade because my dad was really sick in Mexico. After that I returned to the U.S. around July in 2012 and continued school. I entered fourth grade. I really hope I can have something done about my situation because I plan to continue school but I do not know if I will be able to.

You need to advise when you first arrived in the US. How long you were in the US before you left. How long you were out until you returned July 15, 2012. Mr. Smith is an attorney with over 25 years of immigration experience with complex immigration issues and successful filings. His response to your question is general in nature, as not all the facts are known to him. You should retain an attorney experienced in immigration law to review all the facts in your case in order to receive advice specific to your case. Mr. Smith's statement above does not create an attorney/client relationship.

You may be eligible for DACA. More information is needed to assess your potential eligibility. I would need to know when you initially arrived in the United States and how long you were outside the United States due to your father's illness.
