so, my pd is sep 11 2013 under the f2a. my i485 was pre adjusted back in feb 2014 - i was not able to get my gc as my PD was NOT current at the time of the interview. recently, back in may, I got a RFE from USCIS asking me to submit new medical exam!? I did so, they said that since June 1st 2014 they changed their view on that matter and that now my old medical exam was not valid anymore. whatever, I did a new one and sent it with the RFE letter. They got it over 2 weeks ago, and since then NOTHING. When I check my case online it says online that they are working on my case! I mean, I WAS PRE APPROVED, so I do not get it why it is taking so long to finally solve/adjust my case. should i be worried? thanks

It can take a month or two for the USCIS to move forward after an RFE. Delays are not always a cause for concern - USCIS has significant backlogs. Don't worry until they give you a reason to.

While I know two weeks may seem like a long time to you, it is not a long time when it comes to USCIS. USCIS can take up to 120 days to take action on a case after receipt of a response to an RFE. You must be patient. A decision will be made. If more than 120 days lapse since USCIS received the RFE response, you should attend an infopass appointment at the local field office.
