If you and your spouse think you can agree on the terms of a divorce, what is the difference between these options? Are there other options when you both agree?

"Dissolution of marriage" is what some states, including WA, call divorce. "No fault" means the statutes do not require either of the spouses to prove any reason in order to obtain a decree ending their marriage. "Uncontested" often means both spouses agree to all the terms of the dissolution of marriage. Most persons do not, hopefully, divorce often enough that they pickup up the necessary knowledge of the laws. So, it is often in each person's best interest to review the specific facts with the person's own attorney. The attorney will explain to the person how the laws may apply to the person's specific facts. Making decisions based on knowledge is often the best way. What you should do is review the specific facts with your attorney to find out your legal options.

No fault and uncontested are essentially only differences in language meaning the same thing. Dissolution of marriage is the formal dissolving of the marital relationship and is a term, that may be used in contested or uncontested matters.
