Is there any litigating probate attorneys in our area that will work on a contingency basis?

As three senior sisters we are involved in a probate case disputing the will of our father. We are desperately looking for an attorney who will take this case on contingency. We have been to probate court three times without counsel and are scheduled for a hearing on 29th. We just filed a motion to Protest the Attorney on grounds that there is a conflict of interest. On the 29th, the judge is going to rule on that issue.

Probate cases are usually more difficult to handle on a contingency basis, if at all possible in your area. Attorneys cannot solicit you directly on this site. I suggest you use the "Find a Lawyer" tab above and look for probate practitioners in your area. Many of them will advertise a free consultation. Best of luck to you.
Whether an attorney takes a will contest on a contingency is really dependent on the strength of your case. The good news is that there are attorneys who do take these kinds of cases on a contingency, but if the facts are not good, you will have difficulty finding one. Sometimes, attorneys work out "hybrid" cases, which involves a lower hourly rate or flat fee in exchange for a lower contingency percentage. Good luck.
