The US govt mandates that sellers provide warnings on labels re: dangerous products. If the seller refuses can I sue them?

I am a cigarette smoker and also pretty poor. I cannot afford to buy packs of cigarettes so I buy them from several stores in my area that sell them individually. (take them out of pack) Recently I have been having severe breathing problems. My doctor told me it was because of cigarettes. I couldn't afford to smoke if these merchants didn't sell "loosies" (single cigarettes at 50-75 cents each) I would like to file a law suit on the basis that they are violating US government laws. They are profiting 100% A carton $20. -20 packs-20 cigarettes in each pack. Their actions are causing great damage to people and our health care system. They are violating tax laws & also hiding revenue. They could be using that money to fund terrorism as they show no respect for the our laws of the US
As you have indicated here that you know there are warnings (even though you are buying the cigarettes individually after removal from the pack) you probably don't have a chance with a lawsuit, but feel free to call a lawyer. But you could only sue for damage to YOU in any case, and you are indicating that you already know the potential damage. Not a great case, you see?
Ok. You really should not waste your time with this unless you can prove ascertainable damages to you. Your complaint seems very broad and general. In addition, it is illegal to sell "loosies". You are buying cigarettes through an illegal process. I would typically say you should consult with an attorney; however, it is not worth it seriously.
You also need to demonstrate that you would not have smoked if you knew about the warnings, not that you would not have smoked if you could only purchase by the pack. If you find a pack of cigarettes without the warning, you may have a case.
