I am interested in buying a house that has a scheduled foreclosure sale date and the owner just filed a BK-13.

There is a house that was up for sale due to being in foreclosure in Palm Beach County. The foreclosing bank got the judgement against the owner and there was a Foreclosure sale date of 4/13/15 but was cancelled because the owner filed BK-13 to stop the F/C. The B/K confirmation hearing is 7/13/15. Since the house is included in the BK, who would I contact to purchase the house? Should I contact the owner, the BK attorney, or the BK court?

If the owner filed a chapter 13 it means they want to and are going to keep the house and restrictive the debt. So it will stop the sale Only if they did a chapter 7 would you be able to make an offer

With the house included in the bankruptcy the homeowner may be trying to get a modification or otherwise keep the house in the bankruptcy. You can try calling the bankruptcy lawyer and asking but he/she isn't required to give you any information.
