I ported my I485 from EB3 to EB2 in 2014. Becoz of some miscommunication I filed new application instead of Interfiling. On June 24, 2015 we received our Green cards with receipt # (LIN149032####) , Today july 1st I see the old application (LIN072565#####) got denied . I booked my Tickets to travel outside USA , is it OK to travel with out seeing the Denial letter?

If you are a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. and you have your green card and a current passport from your country, you should be able to be admitted into the U.S. upon your return.

You can travel if you have valid green card, most probably, it is denied because you have already receved your residency through EB-2. Normally, USCIS requests to withdraw the I-485 which is not required.

I would think you should be fine. You can call your attorney and verify that the application denied was the one that was abandoned.
