What steps do I need to take to get a divorce in Allen County, Indiana?

I have filed for divorce and notice of hearing was sent but he would not sign for the papers. So, this was dismissed. He is now refusing to attend mediation as well. I am having a hard time figuring out what steps to take to move this along. Thank you

You'll need to ensure he is properly served with notice of the divorce and hearing before a Court will be able to resolve any issues on your behalf. Once you're able to do that, then you can proceed with a final hearing or arbitration to resolve everything, even if he doesn't attend or participate. I would recommend that you either contact a lawyer or the Allen County Bar Association for a volunteer lawyer if you cannot afford one to assist in having him officially "served" so that the Court can move forward with your divorce.
