I was an exchange student that have been stay in USA and then come back with traveling visa and stay over 6 month already. Can I be sponsored by my host family to be a permanent resident? Or any way to be a permanent resident with the help of US family?

Only blood relatives (and only certain blood relatives) can sponsor you. An employer may also be able to sponsor you, if you qualify.

No. You cannot unless you are under 16 years of age and the family adopts you.

Unless you are under 16 and they adopt you ... only your US Citizen/LPR parents or spouse can sponsor you. (NOTE: A US citizen sibling can file also ... but it takes over 10 years.) Talk to an attorney via Skype to learn more about other options.
