Can a real estate appraiser enter my home without my knowledge?
Appraiser called the real estate company and they gave him the lock box number. But I was never told that the appraiser was coming to do the appraisal.

It depends.
If you are a renter, yes if proper notice was provided
If you are the owner and no permission given or implied.....that is trespass.
