I lost my police papers and have court in 2 days. What do I do

Show up at court and ask the clerk for another copy of your paperwork. Hopefully you know where you are going!

Go to court and tell an Officer that you lost your paperwork. Have you hired a lawyer?

Go to court. If in Manhattan (100 Centre Street) but in all criminal courts in NYC there is posted a list of all defendants on each of the court calendars for the day. Find your name and go to the court indicated. Or, call your lawyer if you have one and ask hilton/her.

The most important thing is to just go to court. You are required to appear. The papers have no obligation, their just papers for you so you know to be there and why. Depending on what you are appearing for, you should consider hiring an attorney,
