I forgot to sign my I20 for my STEM Extension application, can it be a reason to be rejected?

I have applied to STEM Extension. My EAD expired on June 15 and my application was received by USCIS on June 10. Since I was in rush I have forgotten to sign my I20 myself. Can it be a reason for my application to be denied. Also, I want to file a expedite according to my financial issues, should I do it or not? I am changing my employer, should I update my employer and send the new I20 signed and forget about the expedite request?

You applied for your extension just 5 days before its expiration. Based on this a request to expedite may not be granted, but you have nothing to lose by trying. However, have multiple issues and considering your circumstances, you should discuss them with an experienced immigration lawyer.

You will need to obtain an I-20 for your new employer and update your I-765 with your new employment. You should talk to your DSO and an experienced immigration attorney. Mr. Smith is an attorney with over 25 years of immigration experience with complex immigration issues and successful filings. His response to your question is general in nature, as not all the facts are known to him. You should retain an attorney experienced in immigration law to review all the facts in your case in order to receive advice specific to your case. Mr. Smith's statement above does not create an attorney/client relationship.

Yes, it could be a reason for denial, or an RFE, which will delay the new permit. Sorry, you are among thousands of other OPT students in a rush ... expedite requests are rarely granted. Talk to your DSO about how to deal with your employers.
