Can I close a charge without going to court?

I live in TX I have an open charge in WI from 2012. They said I have to go there to get the warrant to go away and get convicted. I just want it to go on my record and start payments on whatever fines. I don't want to go to Wisconsin. Can I somehow do this without going to Wisconsin? It's a criminal damage to property charge class a misdemeanor. I don't think I should have been charged since I was in a hospital for suicidal thoughts and wasn't in my right frame of mind

You will need to go to Wisconsin, hire a lawyer and take care of your case in order for it to go away

Change your location to WI and get answers from lawyers there. Generally one must appear to take care of charges.

Sounds like you need a Wisconsin lawyer. Use the Find a Lawyer link above to find a lawyer in that area and see if there is any way to handle the case "in absentia." There might be a way
