How to sue an airline in small claims court?

Business 3 views 1 answers
An airline has approved my request for a refund last year (7/16/2014). It has been over a year now and they have not yet refunded my cost of the ticket. I have provided them any document they need asked including a bank statement providing no refund came through. I want to sue for punitive damages, my refund, as well as anything else I can.

I doubt you will get punitive damages unless you can show that your claim effects the public at large. You can go to Small Claims Court and fill out a complaint. You can get the form also (and other information) on-line. https://www.nycourts.gov/courts/nyc/smallclaims/
