Pulled over for bike equipment violation in NYC riding with no head-lights.

I locked my bike outside next to the projects but forgot to take my light. After workout and went to pick up my bike I noticed my light wasn't there. So while riding home I got pulled over. I explained to the officer after he stop me and he told me I didn't have a head light for my bike. I told him that my bike light got stolen but he ignored my reason and asked for my ID. How much is the fine? He didn't fill in three things on the ticket I received is yellow (traffic ticket) and also I feel like there are mistakes on the ticket like date affirmed he wrote 005(which is not a proper date format..). Missing my zip code, description says bicycle no lights when I did have a rear light, in violation of section (is missing the section and subdivision code). Any advice to fight this? Thanks
