ARE YOU ABLE TO GET A LEVY IN MY NAME ALSO. IT IS A CREDIT CARD DEBT IN MY HUSBAND'S NAME. ARE THERE ANY SOLUTIONS TO REMOVE THE LEVY OR IS IT TO LATE. I AM THE ONLY ONE WORKING SO I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY BACK THE DEBTOR. I CAN ONLY MAKE 50.00 PAYMENTS A MONTH. CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME ADVICE. THANK YOU.

You should be able to contest a turn over the funds, which would allow you to go to a hearing at which time the court will decide and direct the sheriff's officer as to what to do with the money that was levied. And, depending on the facts, you may be able to protect some or all of the money in the account.

I agree with the answer of my distinguished colleague. If you cannot afford to retain an attorney, at least seek a consultation and you will have to contest the turn over on your own. Good luck.
