We rent our cabin out by the night in the summer. The guest went to her Dr and he said he would give her shots for her own peace of mind but that he didn't see anything.

Since there is no valid reason for the shots I do not see a basis by which you would be responsible to pay for same. Use find a lawyer feature to find local counsel to confirm.

Since it is impossible to catch rabies from viewing a bat, it is difficult to see how you could be held responsible for the unnecessary shots.
