What papers do the clerk’s office and the defendant receive verses the Judge.

1. Motion for Request for Leave to Amend Complaint Pursuant To Rule 15(A) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. 2. Plaintiff’s Proposed Amended Complaint and Exhibits 3. Proposed Order (I am sure the judge gets this the day of the hearing if approved) I have the three documents and I was told that the Judge only gets the Plaintiff’s Proposed Amended Complaint and Exhibits and not the clerk’s office or the defendant. For right now I am pro se and I want to know if that is true or not.

Safest bet is to provide bench copies of everything to the judge and file everything with the clerk. If the clerk doesn't want it they will advise you. Also provide everything to the other side unless it is an exhibit you don't want to be known about or introduced until trial.

File the Motion and Amended Complaint/Exhibits. Send the judge all the documents the motion, amended complain/exhibits, and the proposed order. Send all the documents you file and give to the judge to the opposing side.
