Do I have grounds for compensation from eye injury at amusement park?

Corneal abrasion 3 weeks ago. I was hit in the eye by an inner tube on the lazy river. Reported to their first aid and got a saline eye rinse. Went to emergency room the next day. Still experiencing pain and discomfort 3 weeks later. Will be making a follow up appointment with doctor.

Still...not enough facts, but sounding more like a valid claim. Contact a local personal injury lawyer for a free consultation. Tell him/her the entire story; even the smallest details that you may not think matter. Don't leave anything out. Good luck. I'm am adding this post to the general Personal Injury category.

Maybe. You are going to have to sit down with a personal injury attorney or two to discuss your options!

The critical question that needs asking is what could the amusement park have done to avoid this injury. If said park could have done things to avoid this accident, then you most likely have a case. You state that you have a corneal abrasion. If you sue, then a good plaintiffs lawyer would need to hire an optometrist and/or opthamologist to give his expert opinion on how serious this corneal abrasion is and how it would affect your work duties and your enjoyment of life activities. I would be delighted to talk with you about your case at no charge to discern more facts
