They haven't done the work that needs to b done to live un this place I have no Idea how it even passed inspection! We have been lied to over and over again have dealing with roaches fot the past yr and 3 months they wont get a professional and its gross never had u ever had bugs or anything like this before in my life! We have social services involved and they wont even return her calls. We are fed up there is much more to this situation but to much to write.

Why are the suing you? If you have a problem with the property, then you should consider filing a rent escrow action in district court.

In addition to filing for rent escrow in District Court, you can call the county rental housing inspector to inspect and cite the landlord. You can also pay yourself for extermination. You could then sue in small claims court for the cost of the extermination, but do not withhold that cost from your rent payment.
