I used the same service legal shield and everything I tried was thwarted, I told the court that the PVP was not needed my Mother has been a member for years. The court knows what L/S service is and I also have them to as my LEGAL REPRESENTATION at a discount and mother's use her service entitled her to over thousands of hours on her behalf. The County has Reinstalled the PVP was she needed? and of course the publick guardian goes by what ever that PVP says. They make sure they can stay by approving each other and get paid out of the estate it sure looks wrong isn't it a conflict of interest ? The PVP said the trust accounting was wrong then after talking to the deputy council said that he had nothing to do with there accounting? Doesn't PVP have to sign- off on the trust accounting to?

Did you contact legal shield or your legal shield representative to access the service? If you have not you should do so now.

Your question is confusing. It appears you may need to Petition for appointment of a new Conservator if you truly believe there is wrongdoing. Consult with a local attorney.

I'm assuming from your question that the matter is the conservatorship of your mother. It's difficult to tell, because you also mention a trust. In conservatorship proceedings a PVP attorney is appointed to represent the interests of the conservatee. Here, an attorney from LegalShield is not on the PVP panel, and the court is not obligated to appoint an attorney from LegalShield. If you can get an attorney from LegalShield or anywhere else to represent you in this matter, do so. Are you acting as successor trustee? (It's unclear from your question.) At any rate, you need legal representation if you are a party in your mother's probate proceedings.

If the proposed conservatee has been a client of the SAME lawyer or law firm for years and the attorney is competent to represent the person int he conservatorship, the court should accept that lawyers representation. However, if mom just has "legal insurance" and has not used it, or has had no relationship with an attorney who can represent her in the conservatorship, then the court will probably appoint a PVP attorney. If you have been represented by the same law firm, then there may be a conflict of interest. Why is the public guardian the conservator. Did you not want the job, or were you not qualified, or was there a conflict between people who wanted to be conservator and the court decided it by appointed the Public Guardian?
