Can I move out?

I am graduating at semester so this coming December and then I will be starting college in January. I am wanting to go to college in Tulsa but I'm only 17 and my mom doesn't want me to move out but can I?? My dad lives in the Tulsa area but I don't want to live with him. And the legal age to move out in Missouri is 17 but the legal age to move out in Oklahoma is 18... I didnt know if that information made a difference on my situation??

If you are moving in with your father I would think this would be a good option? That is where I would start then when you turn 18 you could legally get an apartment of your own. The hard part is making it on your own. I know as I was in your shoes a few years ago. Good luck either way.

I encourage your parents to discuss. Arguably, once you move to Tulsa, few courts will drag you back to your mother.
