In which relief can be granted. Can I amend some claims and appeal the cps worker claims ? He struck my 38 page repose to 8 ades defendants as too long and then rules my 17 page response was too choppy. I didn't have room to object when I shortened it to comply but feel that was unjust and just to stymie me and cause undue hardship for resubmitting all of the evidence and discs is costly. I have until Tuesday to either amend it or appeal although I discovered policy and used the wring law on one claim . I do not know what to do . I guess for if he dismisses it and I appeal . Can I appeal without amending and just some defendants or part of it and amend some defendants and claims? I am frozen as to what to do. No attorneys will help parents here.

Your best bet is to hire an attorney. You can use the search feature to find one. Many offer free initial consultations.

If your legal documents are anything like this short paragraph, I'd say the judge is trying to help you by allowing you the opportunity to find someone (a lawyer) to help you present your arguments in a clear and unambiguous fashion. You are in over your head--judge is throwing you a life ring--take it. FWIW, attorneys will help parents, there are attorneys who do nothing but handle CPS issues--but attorneys also expect to be paid, just like the parents are paid by their employers.

You need to hire an attorney to help you with this. Generally, appeals can not be taken until the entire case has been finalized. There are exceptions, but they are complex and would be exceedingly difficult for you to navigate through.
