Is it OK to still travel to India? Will there be any problem in getting my H1B stamping?

I am on H1B. I recently got my extension till 2018 (I140 approved). I am planning to visit India for 2 weeks starting 1st October 2015 to get my Visa stamping. But just got to know that my project is scraped and last day is 4th September 2015. I have got my H1 extension approved for this Client I am working with. I have all required documents like Client letter/Vendor letter that I got 6 months back from this client for my H1 extension. Is it OK to still travel to India? Will there be any problem in getting my H1B stamping?
