DNA tests show child is mine .child is 41. Can mother now go back and demand back child support?.

This all happened 42 years ago when I was 19 years old. The mother just now contacted me and told me about it . told her I wanted a dna test but do not know why she is telling me now and not then. Thus----my question above. I would really really appreciate it if you could answer that question for me!
