In New Mexico is it ethical for an attorney to request visitation for his client when the person he is calling on said no.
My brother's attorney came to my fathers house to take my father to another place to meet my brother. My father's companion has a protective order against my brother. In a letter signed by my father, he stated that he would not see my brother until certain things were signed back to my father and certain things were done to keep his companion safe. Those things were not done. My father was under the impression that his son would sign property over to him. When the lawyer came to the house my husband answered the door. The lawyer asked if my father would go with him and he said no. Was this unethical?
