Do I need a lawyer?

I purchased a vehicle that had been wrecked, signed off on a clean car fax title. Apparently the previous owner before they sold it to the car lot had it repaired somewhere where the damage was not reported. Obviously the dealer is not liable, is there anything I can do? Is it worth even pursuing this? The damage was not structural, mainly cosmetic, but wrecked none the less.

Not really. You inspected the car before buying it, so you had an opportunity to see any remaining evidence of damage. The sale was probably 'as is', so it was on you to find the damage. Moreover, whatever remaining cosmet defects may remain are probably not worth as much as it would cost to even pursue a claim if you had one. David

THe only way you have any "wiggle room" here is if the dealer represented to you that the car was in a certain condition (never wrecked). If that is not the case -- and I am guessing there was a great big sticker that said "AS IS - WHERE IS" on it, you don't have a cause of action.
