I RECEIVED A DUI. IS THERE A CHANCE I CAN GET IT REDUCED TO A LESSER CHARGE?

I HAVE BEEN AT MY JOB FOR 28 YEARS. THE COMPANY IS NOW REQUIRING OUR DRIVERS LICENSE TO CHECK THEM.MY EMPLOYMENT DEPENDS ON MY LICENSE.I DO NOT DRIVE A COMPANY CAR. I HAVE PRIVATE INSURANCE AND DRIVE MY OWN CAR. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY VIOLATIONS SINCE.THE QUESTION IS ASKED, DO YOU DRIVE A COMPANY CAR OR ARE YOU INSURED BY THE COMPANY OR DO YOU TRANSPORT PATIENTS. I DO NONE OF THAT. IS THERE ANY HELP FOR ME?
In your question you say you received a DUI. Have you been charged or did "receive" a DUI conviction. I ask because some of the things in your question imply a conviction. Convictions cannot be changed. On the other hand charges can be negotiated. The facts of the arrest and mitigation may be considered by the assistant district attorney handling the case. You should look to hire a lawyer familiar with DUI cases. There are many here at that can help you.
An experienced DUI defense lawyer can certainly help you in your situation. A thorough investigation and an aggressive defense can result in the dismissal of the charge altogether or a negotiated settlement of a plea to a lesser charge that would keep your license in place. Contact an experienced DUI lawyer as soon as possible.
There is always the chance the DUI can be reduced to Reckless Driving or some similar charge; perhaps even an outright dismissal. But there is no way an attorney on this site could state for certainty. That would require reviewing all the evidence in your case, including the arrest reports, videos, statement of witnesses, your prior record if any and many other things to assist in an opinion. Speak with an attorney who handles DUI; you will almost certainly need to hire a defense attorney.
