my ex failed drug test 2 months ago and spent time in lee county ms. he had a interstate compact from alabama. now alabama has took him there for violation. he got arrested back last year for a charge he wasn't even around. hes not been indicted. now pickens county probation is saying the judge will come advise him on oct. 15th and then appoint him a lawyer 2-3 weeks after that. should i get a lawyer now? we want him home. Hes a good man. and is willing to participate in outpatient here in mississippi. his home town. what can i do???? in Tupelo, MS

If he is charged with a crime in mississippi and or probation violations in Mississippi he needs representation. It is highly unlikely if he is facing revocation that they will sentence to an outpatient facility. Seek counsel
