The grandmother has custody of my son. She took my son and moved out of state to keep me from my son. She moved back to Kentucky so she could get the child support. I have been paying child support for over 15 years, My son will be 15 on Nov. 3. The grandmother refuses to let me see my son. The mother of my son signed away her parental rights. I however never sign away my parental rights. I have always wanted to be in my son life. The grandmother refuses to talk to me about seeing my son.

You should speak with a lawyer. You may want to start by filing a motion for visitation rights. You can also file a petition for joint custody. The court will use "the best interest of the child" standard to determine if joint custody is in the best interest of the child. Children over 12 years old have some say regarding visitation.
