My medical records were forged, I wound up septic and almost died. I had to have surgery and was in the hospital for almost 2 months because of what they did to me. They also patient dumped. There is too much to write here but this is a multi million dollar suit against them.

Have the records and imaging studies reviewed by local malpractice counsel who will get expert to review same and opine if there was a departure from accepted standards of practice and if there was, did that departure cause injury. If the answer is yes and the injuries warrant you will have found legal representation. These cases are normally taken on a contingency basis. Use find a lawyer feature to locate local counsel.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. In order to give you a full and complete answer, medical records would have to be reviewed and an expert retained who would do the same. You should inquire of an attorney who is experienced in these types of issues. You can find one using the "find a lawyer" tab above.

As the other attorneys noted, you'll have to find local medical malpractice counsel to review your case. Health care liability cases are very complex and fact specific and an adequate opinion as to viability cannot be rendered based on a brief account. attorneys are prevented from directly soliciting your business, so use the "find a lawyer link" on this site or visit www.texasbar.com to locate one. Also, don't get your heart too set on a multimillion dollar judgment or settlement. It is possible, but they are few and far between. Tort reform has resulted in very modest damage caps in med mal cases and have drastically limited plaintiff recovery. To complicate matters, these cases are extremely expensive to prosecute, and even when liability is somewhat clear, they are often not pursued because the damages are not significant enough to justify prosecution of the claim. Hope this helps--good luck!

You should move quickly to obtain an attorney. You should obtain needed medical care and treatment immediately and follow the doctor's advice. Do not give any statements to the adverse party or insurance company nor grant them access to any medical records. Photograph the injuries and the damage done to any property. Contact a personal injury attorney in your area as soon as possible so that you can protect your rights.
