How should I be served the second time after I was personally served with insufficiency of process the first time?

I was served personally with a summons and complaint, but it turned out to be insufficiency of process. I expect to be served again. How should the next service take place? Should it be a personal service of process again? Or is there an exception?

Unless you consent to accept service by some other means the other party will be required to serve you personally again, e.g., through the Sheriff or a process server.
