Hello, I'm on a L1B visa and my employer is ok to let me telework from my spouse home who lives in an other state (we're both on L visas). Is it legally ok to do so ? Is it necessary to notify the USCIS about this arrangement ? Thank you very much for your answer.

Have you and your employer discused the matter with the company's immigration attorney? At a minimum, an amendment would need to be filed.

If your employer's petition for the L – 1B status indicates that you must work at a certain location, the petition must now be amended to reflect that you will be rendering services at a different location. You should discuss this issue with your employer.
