If I have unfinished legal business with a stalker, would that shut down any claims of stalking/harassment if i speak to them?

I have a family member who is harassing me and threatening to throw me in jail. I have cut off all communications with this person but I still have a legal issue dealing with the transfer of a car. This person keeps pressuring me to give them my new address, which I refuse to do. I want to get a protection order against this insane person but I have to deal with them because of the car. What should I do?

You should consult a lawyer. Perhaps the lawyer can handle the business for you? If you are looking to press charges you should contact the police.
