If someone makes false claims about you in legal documents, are you able to sue them for slander?

the estranged husband of my deceased son's girlfriend filed legal documents stating my son committed suicide because of CPS involvement, that he molested the girlfriend's daughter (which caused the daughter to molest her younger brother) and that I am currently being investigated for or have been charged with molestation of young children. none of which is true.he has gotten his "information" from my daughter and my son's ex-wife. my son died in an auto related accident in June this year and I am not being investigated nor have I been charged with molestation. this could cost me my job with the state. is it considered slander? and am I able to sue them for these statements?
There is a general rule called the 'litigation privilege' which protects judges, attorneys, witnesses, litigants from suits for defamation during judicial actions/proceedings/hearings etc.

unfortunately no. In law, documents used in court that are false are subject to perjury not civil sanctions or suit pursuant to the litigation privilege.
