I am in Ny. My tenant has an eviction date for 11/15/2015. If she does not find a place to mve tois there a possibility that she would get an extension to her eviction date and if so how much more time?

Dear Jamaica Property Owner: I answered your earlier version of this question. Is the "eviction date" from a stipulation of settlement? If so, have your City Marshal secured a warrant of eviction from the court? If so, you must arrange with the marshal for service of the notice of eviction early enough to allow for an eviction on November 16. If you "settled" the case, and you see no signs the tenant is moving even after service of the notice of eviction then your tenant likely is gambling on seeking an order to show cause to stop the eviction ahead of November 15. The judge does not need to provide more time and may even allow the eviction to go forward without a new eviction notice but the marshal would likely serve a new notice in any case. Your job if the tenant does gain an order to show cause is oppose the tenant's request with a written affidavit so the judge would be more inclined to deny the request for more time.

The previous response is spot on. There are plenty of facts that are missing from your question, but generally, a respondent-tenant has the right to file an order to show cause seeking more time to vacate after-judgment/stipulation. Whether the judge would actually give time depends on the circumstances. If the tenant does file an OSC, you (or your lawyer) would have to be served, and you/your attorney can appear to oppose.
