Filing a civil lawsuit in riverside. Besides the summons and complaint, what needs filed at the beginning? Do I do proof service

I think there is also a cover sheet that needs filed. I just want to know the first basic documents that need filed. I am assuming that proof of service is not needed at this time because the summons will be served using a process server, correct?

You need to likely file a civil case cover sheet. No, you do not file a proof of service at this time.

Yes typically a civil case cover sheet, summons, and complaint are the initially filed documents. POS would be filed at some point later after service is made.
