Do I need an attorney

I was registered with a temp company but found a direct hire job temp company has me put in my 2 week notice at my job stated they had a contract for more money. Was told it was a garrunteed job contact was signed with polytronics and was called at 7 pm on Fri and told not to show up for my new job on Monday. Polytronics said they couldn't afford to bring me on board. I was supposed to be replacing a lady at polytronic. I feel I was jepordized and owed punitive damages. I was told by the temp place they were sorry and they would help me get a job with same pay promoised and that wasn't been the case. They haven't contacted me for work and it's been months. I'm now having a hard time finding anything in my field and I'm about to lose everything I have worked for in life. Pls call 6822095445

You don't give enough facts or context to make a useful answer possible. The contracts between you and the temp company and between Polytronics and the temp company would have to be reviewed. Additionally, breach of contract claims will not result in punitive damages. Use the "Find a Lawyer" feature to connect with an employment attorney in your area. Many will offer free initial consultation.
