You should contact Fingerhut immediately and notify them that the charge was fraudulent. Also contact your bank to dispute the withdrawal and be sure to file a written dispute with the bank. The bank does not have to give you a credit, but does have to investigate. The bank probably has an Affidavit of Fraud form which you should also submit. If Fingerhut did not notify you prior to withdrawing the funds, you could have a claim against them for violation of the Electronic Funds Transaction Act. If you can't get your money back, you can also try filing a police report and sending it to Fingerhut with the Affidavit. Make sure you escalate your dispute to a supervisor who can handle the problem. If all that fails, find an experienced consumer protection attorney to help you.

You may have a case, but right now you want to limit your losses. Get the bank to change your account number and ask them to reverse the charges. Report the fraud to fingerhut. Presumably the merchandise was delivered to someone else.
