Is it illegal in the state of Washington to secretly video tape you having sex with someone without their consent?

I had sex a guy and when we were having sex he had asked me if I wanted to make a video and I said no but then a couple days ago I got a message from this guy I had sex with and he told me that he had videos of us having sex in his house and that if he ever heard me talking about him then he would show everyone them
Yes. In the State of Washington this is considered voyeurism and is a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison. Even if the video does not exist, claiming he has a video and will use it against you would be considered harassment which is a gross misdemeanor punishable by up to 364 days in jail. I've included links to both laws. Either way, please contact the police to report him. It doesn't matter if it seems embarrassing. The police deal with this sort of thing and should take it seriously. And, if he has done this to you, he has likely done it before and plans to do it again.

If you refused permission to be filmed, then he had no right to do so. Also consider that blackmail and extortion are crimes. If you want to truly respond, consider retaining an attorney to write an appropriate letter to him about the legal consequences of his actions.
I think you should visit a lawyer licensed in Washington. I believe that Washington is a "two party" consent state with respect to recording conversations. If it is, and if the filmed activity involved private conversation, then he could be in trouble for recording it without your consent.
