I was approved for a US work visa and was given instructions by the US embassy in Monterrey Mexico to file the I-212 form. I sent it to US Customs and Border Proteccion Admissibility Review Office. (ARO) 12825 Worldgate Drive Herndon, VA 20170. I was not given a phone number for me to contact them. I sent the request in September. How long does it usually take?

Why did you apply at the consulate? Are you attempting to reenter as a non-immigrant? An I-212 filed with the lockbox is currently taking around 4 months according to USCIS timetables.

I agree with my colleagues. General processing times are 6 to 12 months in my experience.

6-12 months, but are you certain that you require an I212? Did you seek immigration assistance?
