Most likely not. If you weren't charged with a drug related offense, then you probably won't initially be asked for a drug screen. Do be aware that if you are placed on probation, your probation officer will have the right to screen you for illegal substances. So, I'd ensure that you do not further use any.

I doubt you will be drug tested in court. But if you are honestly worried about it I would advise you to not smoke until after your court date. Even then, remember it is still illegal in Georgia and if you are put on probation they will likely test you.

I do not represent folks in the Atlanta area, but I am a Georgia criminal defense attorney. i would tell you that it is possible that you will be tested and you will be better off assuming that you will be tested the day you are placed on probation than assuming that you will not. If you have an attorney, it might be best to consult with your lawyer about this. I can tell you I was just in court this morning where my client was tested when placed on probation and it was good that he was ready for it.
