I am thinking of pursuing a legal matter in my state. Is it possible to find legal representation from another state.

The state I reside in is rather small, because of this all the institutions and people are familiar with each other. The institution I want to file suit is large and well known and am concerned there could be conflict of interests. Could i get the same level of legal service from a law firm from out of state compared to hiring one from my state. Thank you in advance.

Attorney Flanagan is correct, he or she would have to have a licensed Connecticut attorney ask the court to admit the out of state attorney pro hoc vice, and the local attorney would have to appear with him in court at all times. Look into a local attorney first.

Yes, you can obtain counsel in another State. However, depending upon your situation, your Other-State-Counsel may need help from a local attorney.
