I got divorced today, when can i remarry again?

I went to court today, it was a default hearing, the judge said: as of today 12//4/2015 your dissolution of marriage has been approved, you are divorced as of today, since the party was served and papers were filed back in march 2015. Let's say, i would like to get married again, do i need to wait 6 more months more from the day i was declared divorce which was today 12.04.2015 ??

The judge said you are divorced. So, you are. Divorced means divorced.

While he may have said that - the Judgment needs to be prepared and entered reflecting what he said. Did you write that and give that to him to sign? t

Once you get a conformed copy of the judgment back from the court.

The termination date is printed on the Judgment that you have. You can get married after that date.

No need to wait. Following the hearing on 12-4-15, you are free to remarry. Though your judgment needs to be submitted and processed by the court, you do not need to wait for it, or another 6 months, to remarry. Expect the court to take a couple of months to process the judgment. If you are considering another marriage, consider a prenuptial agreement, especially if you own your own home.
